Gitea has open issues for a project board REST API:

We implemented this in MokoGitea already. When upstream ships their version, we should:

  1. Compare their API design with ours
  2. Migrate to their implementation if compatible
  3. Or maintain our fork if they diverge

This reduces our maintenance burden long-term.
