Comprehensive MokoGIT theme/branding built from the authoritative mokoconsulting.tech
design tokens (MokoOnyx *.custom.css):

- Theme: replace gitea themes entirely with theme-mokogit-{light,dark,auto} (default
  mokogit-auto); brand tokens (primary #010156 / accent #3f8ff0, navy nav+footer #112855,
semantic palette); mokogit-brand.css component reskin; runtime custom-stylesheet override
  hook (templates/custom/header.tmpl -> mokogit-custom.css, re-skin live with no rebuild).
- Font Awesome 7 Free 7.1.0: vendored unmodified (CSS headers intact + webfonts + verbatim
LICENSE.txt), license-compliant for distribution/white-label (Icons CC BY 4.0, Fonts SIL
OFL 1.1, Code MIT); attributed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.md, README, and wiki.
- Light/dark toggle: navbar sun/moon control, server-persisted via the existing
/user/settings/appearance/theme endpoint (anonymous falls back to localStorage).
- Accessibility menu: 6 options (text resize, color invert, high contrast, link highlight,
readable font, pause animations); localStorage-persisted, applied on <html>, ARIA/keyboard.
- PWA: service worker (network-first navigation + cached offline fallback) + branded offline
page + enhanced manifest (display standalone, navy theme_color, app shortcuts); manifest
icon sourced from the site-admin branding icon if set, else the bundled MokoGIT logo.

Verified: `go build ./...` and `vite build` both green; only mokogit themes emit.

jmiller bab29a83fa refactor: rename Go module path MokoConsulting/MokoGitea -> MokoConsulting/MokoGIT
Sweep all .go imports + go.mod, plus module-path refs in .golangci.yml,
Dockerfile, swagger templates, locale example, and repo/wiki URLs
(MokoGitea-Fork -> MokoGIT). Part of the MokoGIT rebrand.

Jonathan Miller c572fcfe04 chore(core): rename Go module from code.gitea.io/gitea to MokoGitea namespace
Branch Policy Check / Verify merge target (pull_request) Has been cancelled
PR RC Release / Build RC Release (pull_request) Has been cancelled
Rename the Go module path from code.gitea.io/gitea to
git.mokoconsulting.tech/MokoConsulting/MokoGitea across the entire
codebase.

Scope:
- go.mod module declaration
- 2,235 Go source files (import paths)
- Dockerfile WORKDIR and COPY paths
- Swagger API templates
- golangci.yml linter config

External dependencies (code.gitea.io/gitea-vet, code.gitea.io/sdk/gitea,
gitea.com/gitea/act, etc.) are intentionally NOT renamed — they are
separate upstream modules.

Henrique Pimentel f7125ab61a Add MAX_ROWS option for CSV rendering (#30268)
This solution implements a new config variable MAX_ROWS, which
corresponds to the “Maximum allowed rows to render CSV files. (0 for no
limit)” and rewrites the Render function for CSV files in markup module.
Now the render function only reads the file once, having MAX_FILE_SIZE+1
as a reader limit and MAX_ROWS as a row limit. When the file is larger
than MAX_FILE_SIZE or has more rows than MAX_ROWS, it only renders until
the limit, and displays a user-friendly warning informing that the
rendered data is not complete, in the user's language.

---

Previously, when a CSV file was larger than the limit, the render
function lost its function to render the code. There were also multiple
reads to the file, in order to determine its size and render or
pre-render.

The warning: ![image](https://s3.amazonaws.com/i.snag.gy/vcKh90.jpg)

Yarden Shoham cdc33b29a0 Add global setting how timestamps should be rendered (#28657)
- Resolves https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/22493
- Related to https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/4520

Some admins prefer all timestamps to display the full date instead of
relative time. They can do that now by setting

```ini
[ui]
PREFERRED_TIMESTAMP_TENSE = absolute
```

This setting is set to `mixed` by default, allowing dates to render as
"5 hours ago". Here are some screenshots of the UI with this setting set
to `absolute`:

silverwind 023e937141 Rename the default themes to gitea-light, gitea-dark, gitea-auto (#27419)
Part of https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/27097:

- `gitea` theme is renamed to `gitea-light`
- `arc-green` theme is renamed to `gitea-dark`
- `auto` theme is renamed to `gitea-auto`

I put both themes in separate CSS files, removing all colors from the
base CSS. Existing users will be migrated to the new theme names. The
dark theme recolor will follow in a separate PR.

## ⚠️ BREAKING ⚠️

1. If there are existing custom themes with the names `gitea-light` or
`gitea-dark`, rename them before this upgrade and update the `theme`
column in the `user` table for each affected user.
2. The theme in `<html>` has moved from `class="theme-name"` to
`data-theme="name"`, existing customizations that depend on should be
updated.

silverwind 50bd7d0b24 Remove the service worker (#25010)
It's been disabled by default since 1.17
(https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/18914), and it never really
delivered any benefit except being another cache layer that has its own
unsolved invalidation issues. HTTP cache works, we don't need two cache
layers at the browser for assets.

## ⚠️ BREAKING

You can remove the config `[ui].USE_SERVICE_WORKER` from your `app.ini`
now.

silverwind c7612d178c Remove meta tags theme-color and default-theme (#24960)
As discussed in
https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/24953#issuecomment-1565630156.

## ⚠️ BREAKING ⚠️

1. The `ui.THEME_COLOR_META_TAG` setting has been removed. If you still
need to set the `theme-color` meta tag, add it via
`$GITEA_CUSTOM/templates/custom/header.tmpl` instead.

2. The non-standard `default-theme` meta-tag added in
https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/pull/13809 has been removed. Third
party code that needs to obtain the currently loaded theme should use
the `theme-<name>` class on the `<html>` node instead, which reflect the
currently active theme.

silverwind 517f9f5aa4 Don't set meta theme-color by default (#24340)
Fixes https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/24321. By not setting
this meta tag, Safari will use body color for chrome and out-of-viewport
areas, which looks much better then static mismatching green.

As per
[MDN](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/meta/name/theme-color)
it's really only Apple browsers who still support this tag, most others
have dropped support.

wxiaoguang e57e1144c5 Add ONLY_SHOW_RELEVANT_REPOS back, fix explore page bug, make code more strict (#23766)
Follow #21962

After I eat my own dogfood, I would say that
ONLY_SHOW_RELEVANT_REPOS=false is necessary for many private/enterprise
instances, because many private repositories do not have
"description/topic", users just want to search by their names.

This PR also adds `PageIsExploreRepositories` check, to make code more
strict, because the `search` template is shared for different purpose.

And during the test, I found a bug that the "Search" button didn't
respect the "relevant" parameter, so this PR fixes the bug by the way
together.

I think this PR needs to be backported.

Lunny Xiao c53ad052d8 Refactor the setting to make unit test easier (#22405)
Some bugs caused by less unit tests in fundamental packages. This PR
refactor `setting` package so that create a unit test will be easier
than before.

- All `LoadFromXXX` files has been splited as two functions, one is
`InitProviderFromXXX` and `LoadCommonSettings`. The first functions will
only include the code to create or new a ini file. The second function
will load common settings.
- It also renames all functions in setting from `newXXXService` to
`loadXXXSetting` or `loadXXXFrom` to make the function name less
confusing.
- Move `XORMLog` to `SQLLog` because it's a better name for that.

Maybe we should finally move these `loadXXXSetting` into the `XXXInit`
function? Any idea?
